Africa investor (Ai) confirmed today that Dr. Hubert Danso has been appointed to the high-level judging panel for the prestigious 2022 Finance for the Future Awards.
The Finance for the Future Awards were created in 2012 to recognise leadership within the finance function to drive sustainable economies. Finance for the Future is a partnership between Deloitte, The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and Accounting for Sustainability (A4S).
Dr. Danso is an A4S Advisory Council member. A4S was established by His Majesty King Charles III in 2004, when he was The Prince of Wales, to convene global finance, investment, and accounting leaders to catalyze action on sustainability and transform finance to make sustainable business the norm.
Now in their 10th year, the highly coveted Finance for the Future Awards recognize financial leaders who are building sustainable economies. The awards showcase and honor examples of best practices across four award categories, with a special award recognizing climate leaders, all centered around the role of finance teams, investors, and academia in building a sustainable future.
As a member of the high-level judging panel, Dr. Danso will contribute his expertise, review entries, and interview shortlisted candidates as part of the rigorous adjudicating process.
The 2022 Finance for the Future Awards winners will be announced on Tuesday the Tuesday 4 October at the Gherkin. London.
