Africa investor and NYSE Euronext launched partnership to assembly of investors at Euronext Paris
Paris 2nd July 2008. Africa investor, in association with NYSE Euronext, presented the Ai Index Series Summit to global investors at Palais Brongniart in Paris. The Ai Index Series Summit, in association with NYSE Euronext, is to be held on the 15th September 2008 with confirmed participation from high level institutions such as JP Morgan, Renaissance Capital Management, Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Farallon Capital Management amongst others. The launch demonstrated high interest from global emerging market investors in Africa's vibrant capital markets, which have consistently delivered high returns despite the global market downturn.

The Summit is designed to facilitate opportunities between Africa Investor's best performing Index constituent companies, Wall Street, & global emerging market investors. Speaking at the event, Sunil Benimadhu, CEO, Mauritius Stock Exchange, commented on African markets, stating that now is the time to invest in Africa, and that African markets are uncorrelated from global markets and provide diversification benefits for investors.
The Ai Index Series Summit is sponsored by Oceanic Bank and the NEPAD Business Group. The Summit will facilitate one-on-one issuer investor meetings to enable institutional investors to meet directly with African companies and discuss latest trends in corporate governance, high growth opportunities and the next wave of African securities and IPO's.
