Friday, 08 May 2015

Africa investor (Ai), a leading international investment and communications group, has today announced the shortlist for its 8th prestigious Africa investor (Ai) Infrastructure Investment Awards 2015.

The Ai Infrastructure Investment Awards will take place during the 8th annual Africa investor (Ai) CEO Infrastructure Investment Summit. The Ai CEO Infrastructure Investment Summit is the calendar event and premier business development forum for institutional infrastructure investors, pension and sovereign wealth funds, infrastructure fund managers, financiers, project developers, project sponsors and PPP policy makers. The Ai CEO Infrastructure Summit and Awards will take place on the 3rd of June 2015 at the Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town, South Africa.

The Ai Infrastructure Investment Awards are a unique platform for infrastructure investors and governments in Africa’s fast-growing infrastructure sectors to gauge and compare their performance and achievements. The 2015 Ai Awards will showcase African public and private sector project investment innovations and the growing international competitiveness of African infrastructure as an investible asset class.

The prestigious, highly sought-after Ai Infrastructure Investment Awards formally recognise achievements across the main infrastructure sectors in Africa and reward the institutions and personalities driving transactions and improving the continent’s infrastructure investment climate. See below for the full shortlist.

Commenting on the shortlist, Hubert Danso, CEO and Vice Chairman of Africa investor, said; "These Ai Infrastructure Awards continue to be the most important of their kind. For close on a decade now we have been recognising public and private companies and organisations that are leading the way in infrastructure investment and development across Africa. The calibre of this year’s top ten nominees for each category emphasises that the continent’s infrastructure investment attractiveness continues to grow and improve. We are therefore delighted to be at the forefront of promoting these African public and private sector infrastructure investment success stories."

The Ai CEO Infrastructure Investment Summit and Awards 2015 will take place on the 3rd of June 2015 at the Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town, South Africa. On the 2nd of June, Africa investor will also host the Ai CEO Infrastructure Project Developers Summit and Awards.
