Deputy Director, Shell FoundationChris West joined the Shell Foundation in 2001, and was appointed Deputy Director in June 2002.
He gained a DPhil from the University of Oxford before starting up his own business to provide environmental advice and services to businesses and the public sector.
After selling this company, he then joined the UK Department for International Development (DFID), where he worked as Senior Environmental Adviser with donors, corporations and NGOs in developing and middle-income countries.
